I have to say, while I did enjoy myself this year and got awesome swag and stuff, This Con was a bit Lack Luster.
for example: Some booths weren't there this year: Spesifically a DC booth. This was weird, as there was Marvel, Dark Horse and IDW, but no DC? You're lettimg marvel have the spotlight? You got batman for god sakes doing his 75th anniversary.
another thing was no Microsoft or a Halo Panel. Though Frank o'connor appeared for Megabloks and Dark Horse. and I managed to ask a question, that he answered
But there were still good things. for one thing, no bus or train, I went there by car and get parking in the local garages at goods deals.
now, day 1:
Missed the Big hero 6 panel because I was late but I got to other panels: Specifically rooster teeth and I got to get to the Q and A asking for a RvB RWBY crossover, they said while they want to, they're still experimenting ways to blend the two worlds together since RvB is mostly machinima. Did some shopping and got models of Master Chief and Baymax.
Autograohs: First there was one for Jason David Frank, AKA Tommy the Green/white/red/black Ranger XD. Then I got Frank O'Connor twice, one from Megabloks, and again at Dark Horse. I even met the press crew who does the Halo podcast "Podtacular" and "This Spartan Life" and I suggested to do shows for the Spartan Blue team.
As much as I tried to get into the batman 75th anniversary panel, it got so crowed by the time I was close to the door, They filled out. But I did go to others like the Dark Horse panel for their Videogame comics, and one for Disney Infinity, and got a Captain American figure
I got there super early to get a wristband to get an autograph from Jessie Flower, best known for the role as Toph Beifong in Avatar: The last Airbender. after a Panel about 3D printing, and a panel for the Avatar comic, I got the autograph, finished last minute purchases and went home tired.
Got plenty of cosplay pics too
