Snow fell as Kaylin exited the gate, where was she? Why did the light train lead her here?
Kaylin's eyes now come across very bright lights, a large castle surrounded by colorful buildings...and Darus attacking small creatures. She sees that the small creatures...are elves. Kaylin felt loss for words but sees that Darus is winning.
Feeling the elves' fear, she fuels her Zephyr and destroys the ice under Darus, making a hole to the frozen water. Darus jumps and the section of ice is reformed through his Zephyr. He faces Kaylin, who stands defensively.

Getting off of the light train, Kaylin finds that she is in a deserted snowed town at night. Before anything could happen, she is suddenly grabbed, a hand covers her mouth and silences her. There's a flash and she sees she is in a Forrest. The hand lets her go.
"All Right, Darus, bring on the-" she stops as she sees her attacker. Tears grow in her eyes as she sees Jackson...alive. Letter her emotions run, Kaylin gives him a tight hug.
"Jackson...but how?"
"The assailant missed vital organs, I was able to heal myself with this" he holds a vile of blue liquid. Kaylin remembers Jackson's Zephyr ski

The light train went through a new gate. A flash of light and Kaylin finds herself in a new land. Noticing a very familiar iron structure, Kaylin realizes she is now in Paris France.
Paris...she remembered being her before. Her first task as a Gate-Jumper, an event she prevented, thereby saving lives...an even that she sensed was about to happen again.
